the Volks Design & Research Consulting Ltd. is an awarded inter-disciplinary design practice based in Macau and China lead by Harvard Graduated Architect Manuel Lam. Manuel Lam, is the founder, the chief architect and creative director of the Volks Design. He holds a master degree from Harvard University GSD with experiences among top leading architecture and design firms such as Foster & Partners in London and Sasaki in Boston. He also serves as a visiting lecturer at the University of Saint Joseph Macau architecture department. He has been exhibition curator for Macau in the "16th Venice International Architecture Biennale". He has been awarded as M+ China Top 100 Luxury Interior Designer Award, Muse Design Awards, 40 Over 40 Outstanding Design Elite Award Macau, and has been identified as Top 36 Chinese Design Stars.

Designer 'Eun Whan Cho' is representative of 'MOOTAA' and at the same time is representative of 'MAEZM'. He has been working on ART WORK and design, and has been showing various experimental designs. His field of activity is wide ranging from architecture to furniture design, and he has also been active as an artist such as a sculpture. He studied spatial design at Kookmin University in Korea and received his master's degree at Domous Academy in Italy. After returning to Korea, he has been invited and exhibited many times in famous museums in Korea and has been invited and exhibited in over 17 countries. In 2009, the Korean government selected him as Korea's representative young designer. Until now, international magazines and media have introduced his designs several times, and his designs have been awarded in many countries, including Germany and Japan. Now he is working on various design projects in Korea and at the same time he is teaching students in college.

Prior setting up HOT KONCEPTS, he worked as Design Director (PRC), Associate Director for CL3 Architects Ltd, Steve Leung Designers Ltd. Projects he designed have received many awards, such as Media Nation Shanghai Head Office - Asia Pacific Interior Design Award 2002 - winner, corporate category; The American Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Chapter - Merit Award for Interiors 2001. Vanke Showflat at Changsha - "2012 Philips Sense and simipility"Gold award. Other projects like Top Result Beijing Office, Techpacific HK office, Greenland show-flat are also received AIA , HKDA awards etc. Moreover, he has strong working experience in China - Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing etc. In order to extend design knowledge, he further studied in London, and received commendation result - distinction for dissertation.

Charles completed his Bachelor of Science (Architecture) Studies at the University of Science Malaysia and continue to achieve her Bachelor of Architecture at the same University, graduating in 2010. After graduating, he worked for two years in Melbourne to gained experience in both architecture and interior design field before back to Malaysia. Co-founder Charles joined Chaos Design Studio in 2016 after working at local architecture firm for 3 years and has been involve in many types of projects range from residential both individual and multi, through to commercial and mixed development.
